A little about me
Born in Appleton, WI, reared in Southeast FL, transplanted to SF, landed in San Rafael just north of the Golden Gate. I'm interested in intimate relations, honest inquiry and poignant surprise; the heroic and special in everyday life and people. Good stories make me happy. Or sad. Both are good.
Influences range from Nick Drake to Freddie Mercury; Tom Petty to Alan Menken; Elliott Smith to Johnny Cash; Mark Eitzel to Victoria Williams; and Joni Mitchell to Green Day.
And then there was my foray into musical theater with The Texas Chainsaw Musical! Something very different, and possibly the most fun thing I've ever produced along with my co-writer Christopher Minori. Check it out if you are into camp. It's kind of like Love Story. With a chainsaw.
